Privacy Policy

If you only browse. Public pages (insights, news, company pages, pricing) can be read without an account. Like any website, our hosting providers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

If you create an account.

• Your name and email address, and an optional profile photo.
• Your password, stored only as a one-way (bcrypt) hash. We cannot read it. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and Google account identifier from Google, and never your Google password.
• Sign-in records: the time, the method (email or Google), whether it succeeded, and your IP address. We use these to spot abuse and to help you if you are locked out.
• What you do in the product: the companies you research, your watchlist, any portfolio holdings you choose to enter (quantity, buy price, date), your questions to the AI chat and its replies, and counters for plan limits.
• If you create a developer API key, a hash of the key and how often it is used. The key itself is shown once and not stored.

If you upgrade. When you pay by UPI we store the transaction reference number and the payment screenshot you upload, so we can verify the payment and activate your plan. We do not receive or store card or bank credentials. If card payments through a payment processor are offered, the processor handles those details under its own policy.

• Sign-in token: when you log in, a token is kept in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in. Signing out removes it.
• Theme: your light or dark preference is remembered in local storage.
• Advertising: where ads are shown, Google and its partners may set cookies or use similar identifiers, described below.

We do not use these to track you across other sites ourselves. You can clear local storage and cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Some public pages (insights, news and company pages) may show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are never shown inside the logged-in research workspace. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads, and may use information about your visits to this and other sites to show ads that are more relevant to you.

• You can manage or turn off personalised ads at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
• Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown ads only after consenting through a consent message, which you can change at any time.

• To run your account and the features you use: research pages, watchlist, portfolio, chat, the screener and your plan.
• To keep the service secure: detecting repeated failed sign-ins, abuse of the API and fraud in payments.
• To send essential emails, such as password resets.
• To fix problems and improve the product using aggregated usage information.
• To show ads on public pages, where enabled.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use service providers to operate Monminds. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:

• Vercel and Render, which host the website and the API.
• Neon, which hosts our database.
• Anthropic and Google (Gemini), the AI providers that write the summaries and chat replies. Your chat questions, and the company data they refer to, are sent to them to produce a reply. Please do not type sensitive personal information into the chat.
• Resend, which delivers our emails.
• Google, for Sign in with Google and for AdSense.
• Yahoo Finance and Google News, from which we fetch market data and headlines. No personal information about you is sent to them.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Monminds and its users. Some of these providers may process data outside India.

Summaries, chat replies and daily market wraps are produced with the help of AI from the data shown, and can contain mistakes. They are decision-support material, not investment advice. See our About page for how the score and AI text are produced.

We keep account information for as long as your account exists. Security records such as sign-in attempts and payment references are kept as long as needed for security, fraud prevention and record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it at any time (see below).

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is wrong or out of date (you can also edit your name and photo in your profile);
• delete your account and associated data;
• stop sending you non-essential emails or withdraw a consent you have given.

Email info.investingg@gmail.com from the address on your account and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible. If you are in India, these rights follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; if you are elsewhere, the rights your local law gives you also apply. You may also raise a complaint about how we handled your data by writing to the same address.

Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and access to our systems is restricted. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password and sign out on shared devices. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us straight away.

Monminds is intended for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will make the change prominent if it is significant.
